Phoenix Mercury Guardian Natasha Cloud took aim at Elon Musk and other billionaires in social media posts Sunday after a stopgap funding bill was passed to prevent a government shutdown.

Musk and President-elect Donald Trump He led the conservative rebellion Against the initial plan to avoid a partial shutdown, a bipartisan agreement that came from negotiations between the top two Democrats and Republicans in both chambers of Congress.

This 1,547-page bill would have extended current government funding levels until March 14. However, GOP hardliners were angered by what they saw as unrelated measures tied to the bill, such as pay raises for lawmakers in Congress, health care policy provisions and legislation aimed at revitalizing RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C.

It was canceled when Trump and Musk threatened to force out of office any lawmaker who did not support pairing CR with a measure on the debt limit.

It caused major controversy in the political arena hours before the House of Representatives eventually passed the bill.

The cloud became heavy after a few days.

“So when you're all gone, tell Elon to go back to Africa?” Cloud wrote on X.

“I'm so glad all these billionaires have no idea how the three branches of government work…or how the bill gets passed into law. Shout out to the 38 Republicans who shot down the bill in the House while being threatened and blackmailed.”

All Democrats voted in favor of the bill, except for Representative Jasmine Crockett, who voted “present.”

Cloud has been vocal about the United States in the past. After Trump won the elections, she criticized women who voted for the Republican candidate.

“The privilege of celebrating rn is exactly what is wrong with us as people,” she added. “I'm really concerned about my basic human rights.
