When asked about the exact moment take-off began, Ace replied:
“My junior year in eighth grade, I went to a camp in Kansas. It was like a group of runners there like Crossroads Elite. That's what shaped me. And by taking what I did at that camp to school ball, I mean it. I just really exploded.” From there” (11:25-36:25).
Ace also touched on how he adjusted to college life:
“I mean it was great. Summer workouts were fun. We were training in the weight room, on the field, off the field… everything was fun, and it was great. So keep building on that” (1:20-1: 33).
