Wes Bentley He has a lot of favorites right now, but there are some elements that have helped shape who he is today.
“I'm obsessed with (the book) Tao Poh,” the Yellowstone The actor, 46, reveals in the latest issue of Us Weeklyy. “I know this is a bit cliche, but it changed my life.”
Bentley explains this before picking up the philosophical reading Benjamin HuffHe was a “temperamental child” with an “attitude.” However, after learning about Taoism through the lens of Winnie the Pooh, Bentley's mindset changed.
“I read this book and in 15 minutes it changed my life,” he admits. “He opened my eyes and made me understand that things are out of my control sometimes, and that I don't need to react.”
To this day, Bentley still loves to challenge his mind and learn new things. Currently, the actor is busy with the Netflix docuseries Ancient Apocalypse. The series, which has two seasons available to watch, follows journalist Graham Hancock as he travels the world in search of evidence of mysterious and lost civilizations dating back to the last Ice Age.
“It's about, perhaps, going back to prehistoric times in the last ice age,” he shares. “How exciting?”
In addition to documentaries, Bentley also enjoys watching classic films such as Orson Welles' Evil touch and The bright one. The actor points out that every time he watches a horror movie starring Jack Nicholson, he sees “something new.”
Bentley is also a big music fan and can't get enough of Radiohead's 2008 album In the rainbow.
“I can't stop listening to this album since it came out,” he says. we. “I think it's one of the most interesting albums ever. It's also very expressive and it's Radiohead, so it's beautiful.”
Bentley played Jamie Dutton on the hit Paramount+ series Yellowstone Since 2018. After six years, the series is now in its final season with the final batch of episodes released this month.
