UNai Emery confirmed that Olie Watkins is ready to give up attention from Arsenal and stay in Aston Villa.

England International was the subject of a 60 million pounds of offer from Gunners earlier this week, with the news broken a few hours before the 4-2 victory over Celtic in the Champions League, a game in which Watercins scored and a penalty holding.

With the presence of JHON Duran about to close a 64 million pounds of transition to Nasser, the last Villa needs to indicate Watskins that he wants to go out as well. But Emery says, after he spoke to him, the 29 -year -old is happy in Villa Park.

Emery said: “Yes, he is happy to stay. We asked him how he feels every day and he is happy here,” Emery said.

“He appreciates a lot how it was a villa always supported and helped, when we joined here two years ago how we were working with him and getting the best of it.

“Now we need it, as he needed Aston Villa in recent years. I am talking to him a lot, and he always adapts to every circumstances that we have and of course when you call us some teams that care about the players, it is very good for us and the players.

“Some players prefer to leave and others accept to stay here and adhere to our challenges. One of them is Olie Watkins.”

After euphoria in the middle of the week, Villa returned her attention to the Premier League matters tomorrow with local skirmishes in wolves.

They will take a short trip to Molineux without the Tyrone Mings and Matty Cash.

Meinsge was wounded against West Ham at the end of last week, while Cash lasted only 30 minutes of Celtic game before she turned.

Emery said: “We will train this afternoon, but Matti Cash is not available, it will be, more or less, three or four weeks outside,” Emery said.

“Tyrone Mingss is a small injury, not very bad, but I think it will need some days more to be ready to play.”
