Footage broadcast by German channel MDR shows police confronting a man lying on the ground next to a car after a car ran over people at a Christmas market in the German city of Magdeburg.
The suspect is believed to be a 50-year-old Saudi doctor, according to the Prime Minister of Saxony-Anhalt, Rainer Haseloff.
