A stunning video showed the moment the British Airlines plane was hit by a thunderbolt while sitting at the gate Brazilian airport Friday.
In a video posted by Bernhard War on X, a British Airways plane appears Stop at the gate At Sao Paulo Airport/Gawroulos International in Brazil in rain, and suddenly beating lightning in an amazing way.
While future passengers were waiting to board the plane, it was possible to see lightning hitting the plane's tail. It appears that the video was modified to show the slow movement, as a runway member was seen slowly moving towards the back of the plane.
“I am in GRU waiting for a return home (but) my plane was forced to leave to perform an examination,” War wrote. “What kind of checks will be made?”

British Airways did not immediately respond to the Fox News Digital request for comment and additional information about Lightning blow.
