Drew Rosenhaus, Miami agent Dolphins Superstar Tyreek Hill has squashed trade speculation surrounding his client. The revelation comes days after Hill's controversial exit during the season-ending loss to the New York Jets.
Hill, an eight-time Pro Bowl wide receiver, sparked trade rumors after removing himself from Sunday's game. His actions came on the heels of a frustrating season in which he posted career-low numbers with just 81 catches for 959 yards.
Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show on January 9, 2025, Rosenhaus revealed previously unknown details about Hill's commitment to the Dolphins;

“Tyreek Hill broke his wrist during a scrimmage against the Chiefs in training camp. He wasn't going to miss the season and wanted to play. He's committed to the Miami Dolphins and had an excellent meeting with Chris Grier and Mike McDaniel,” Rosenhaus said.

Rosenhaus addressed Hill's emotional outburst After Sunday's game, the receiver said, “I'm out, bro. It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, I had to do what was best for my career.”
“Tyreek Hill was emotional after the game and the guys on the Dolphins know he's a great competitor. We represent thirteen players on this team and none of them have a complaint about Tyreek,” Rosenhaus confirmed.
Dolphins GM Chris Grier confirmed that Hill did not request a trade. Head coach Mike McDaniel met with Hill for an hour to talk about his exit from the game.
“I've been very direct with him…that leaving a game is unacceptable and will not be tolerated in the future, and he has embraced accountability,” McDaniel said.
The situation reflects the growing pressure on Hill, who signed a three-year, $90 million extension before the 2024 season. His contract includes $59 million in guaranteed money and carries significant salary cap implications — $28.7 million in 2025 and $51.9 million in Year 2026.
