US President Donald Trump on Thursday praised Saudi Arabia's pledge to invest $600 billion in America over the next four years, while noting that the number should actually be higher.
“It was also reported today in the newspapers that Saudi Arabia will invest at least $600 billion in America,” Trump told an audience in Davos via video call, referring to major announcements of foreign companies’ investment plans in the country.
He added: “But I will ask the Crown Prince, who is a wonderful man, to round the amount to about a trillion. I think they will do that, because we have been very good to them,” referring to Saudi Arabia. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
