President-elect Donald Trump He pledged on Tuesday that people or companies investing at least $1 billion in the United States would receive “full expedited approvals and permits.”

Trump said in a post on: Social truth Environmental approvals are included as part of the investment incentive.

“Any person or company investing $1 billion, or more, in the USA will receive fully expedited approvals and permits, including, but not limited to, all environmental approvals. Get ready to go!!!” Trump wrote.

Details of Trump's proposal are unclear. Trump's transition team did not immediately respond when CNBC asked for details and clarity on what type of rules or regulations would be reduced in order to provide “full speed” approvals or permits.

It was not clear why Trump decided to release the letter on Tuesday specifically. But earlier that same day, US Supreme Court Hear arguments in a dispute over federal environmental review of a proposed oil railroad in Utah.

The circular marked the latest sign of Trump's intent to liberalize federal agencies and attract more foreign investment during his second term in office.
