Ange Postecoglou says his belief in his ability to turn around Tottenham's season has not wavered despite a sixth defeat in eight league games this afternoon.
Tottenham lost 3-2 to Everton after a late second-half comeback gave the result an element of respectability after a largely uninspiring display at Goodison Park.
The relegation-threatened team led 3-0 in the first half after goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Eliman Ndiaye, added by Archie Gray into his own net.
Tottenham's performance improved after the break, but they were unable to achieve the equalizer after goals by Dejan Kulusevski and substitute Richarlison.

The visiting fans vented their anger at Postecoglou and the players after the final whistle, but the Australian insisted he would continue to work hard to find solutions.
When asked if his faith was starting to wane, he told Sky Sports: “No, it's not. If you look at the situation we're in, it will eventually dissipate. I certainly hope and believe that it will happen. We will give ourselves the opportunity to achieve consistency in performances and results.
He added: “I certainly did not lose faith or determination to change things, and the players showed in the second half that they did not lose that either.”
We struggled in the first half – Angie
Tottenham, plagued by injuries, are 15th in the table, eight points above the relegation zone.
Postecoglou added: “It is a difficult result. We struggled to get into the game in the first half and that gave Everton momentum. We gave ourselves a mountain to climb but the players certainly tried to get the game back but we failed.
“We couldn't really control the game. We struggled to have any intensity on the ball and off the ball, and that allowed them to get in behind us. We had some chances that we probably should have taken early on, but in the end it wasn't enough.
“We were stretched too thin. We had 11 players fit enough to start the game. We were not in complete control of our organization and Everton took advantage of that and we paid the price for that. Radu (Dragusin) had to come out due to deep cuts and restructuring.
“In the second half we had a fair share of the game. We started strong and I thought Richarlison made the difference and presence, and Mickey Moore gave us something on the left.
Tottenham are looking to make a move in January
The transfer window is open and Tottenham are working hard to strengthen their squad.
“There will be an urgent need, but there is no need for me to say that, everyone can see that,” Postecoglou said. “I have no problem with how the club is handling it, they are working hard and trying to find solutions. These players need help that's for sure and hopefully we will find a solution in the next 10 days or so. It's really difficult, we're not the only ones in the market. The club is trying hard.”
