The United Kingdom ordered apple To provide officials to access the encrypted user accounts, the Washington Post reported on Friday.
The British office, which is in charge of immigration and security, issued an order last month to Apple, which requires the technical “back door” that would allow officials to display fully encrypted materials that were uploaded to the Cloud program, as the post stated by the people familiar with the matter.
“We do not comment on operational issues, including, for example, to confirm or deny the existence of any such notifications,” a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior.
Apple did not immediately respond to the CNBC request for comment.
