Mikey Musumeci is one of the best wrestlers in the world. In the past few years, he has worked with several UFC fighters including former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno.
“Darth Rigatoni” was recently recorded by the Buds UFC Cruiserweight contender Chase Huber for the work they did together ahead of UFC 310, which took place on December 7.
Huber, one of the top Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioners in the 155-pound division, faced Clay Guida on the early preliminary card. He earned an armbar submission win over Guida, and now he's shared some details about how his training with Musumeci helped him submit the UFC veteran.
The 25-year-old recently appeared on the JAXXON PODCAST, hosted by former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, where he said:

“I was honestly trying to set up that armbar. I worked with Micky Musumeci when I was out in New York City for the MSG card. I was working for Fight Pass (UFC). I teamed up with him, and he was just overpowered as far as grappling went.” Then he showed me this little kimura grip armbar setup, I butchered it a little bit.

Musumeci said:
“WWell, I got my black belt from Gilbert Burns. So he's my coach, so I have to say that. But I really think he has amazing jiu-jitsu. Great presentations, everything is great. So that's my answer.”
