Ryan Garcia posted his reaction to X after being ambushed by Bill and Devin Haney at the Ring Awards in London last Saturday night. Haney's family confronted Garcia as he was leaving, and Bell shouted, “You're evading.”

Garcia said Bell and Devin must drop the lawsuit against him to have any chance of negotiating the fight. So far, they have not done this. Therefore, it is unclear why the Haney family is still discussing considering a rematch with Ryan as a “priority” in 2025.
Garcia says it's not just the lawsuit that stands in the way of a rematch with Garcia. They would need to approve a different drug testing agency because Kingry refuses to use VADA. He feels it “fishy” Bell is pushing hard for that agency, and he's skeptical.
