A man ignited violent protests after the burning of the Qur’an was killed in Sweden, according to local media reports.
It was reported that Silwan Momka, 38, was killed in a flat in Soderley, Stockholm on Wednesday evening.
The turmoil erupted after Mr. Momika set fire to a copy of the Bible of Islam outside the Stockholm Central Mosque in 2023.
The local Stockholm Court said that Mr. Momka and his partner were accused regarding the burning of the Qur’an, but the ruling, which is scheduled to be delivered on Thursday, was postponed after it was confirmed that one of the defendants had died.
Stockholm police broadcaster SVT News told that a 19 -year -old man was found in an apartment and later died.
