Along with her post, weintraub published a copy of the message from White House.
“Dear Commissioner Winterop,” says the message. “You have been removed as a member of the Federal Electoral Committee, immediately. Thank you for serving you in the committee.”
The message was awarded on January 31, 2025, and Trump signed it.
Weintraub targeted President Trump in 2019, when she said that his claims were “baseless” Voter fraud It was “harmful to our democracy.”
She criticized the president during the appearance of CNN and claimed that he was publishing information that had no evidence.

“I think he is harmful to our democracy, to publish information like that if there is no evidence,” Wintop told host John Berman.
Weintraub insisted that there was no evidence of falsifying voters in 2016, in response to Trump's repeated demands on the contrary.
