Auntie Terrorist attack in New Orleans Victim Martin “Tiger” Peck, a former running back for the Princeton University football team, said faith guided the family through the devastating loss.

“It's honestly amazing. You know, as devastating as this is, God is very present,” Sherri Beck said. “Fox and friends first” Friday.

Tiger, 27, was visiting his home state of Louisiana to go fishing with college friends when a truck driver plowed into crowds at Canal and Bourbon streets in the early morning of New Year's Day, killing at least 14 people.

Sherri told Fox News producers before her interview that Tiger's mother felt as if she was saying goodbye to him for weeks before the tragedy.

“Talking about it gives me chills,” co-host Ashley Strohmeier commented.

Cherry explained how their faith in God was their backbone Her family's grief journey.

“On New Year's Eve, we found out about Tiger. My daughters and I were sitting at the dinner table, and one of my daughters looked at me and said, 'Mom, you know, someone killed my cousin. And I forgive him,'” she revealed.

“It is only through our faith in Jesus that we can forgive such a heinous criminal act against innocent people.”

Sherri described Tiger as an “amazing” son, brother and cousin, and supports his younger brother Jack's football career at TCU as he prepares for the 2025 NFL Draft.

“Tiger was working in New York. He did his best all week to make the latest flight possible on Friday night to get here at 1:30 a.m., get up early and be the first one to watch Jack,” she said.

“Jack knows that Tiger's presence will be with him (in the draft). We are all strong believers in Jesus and we are holding Jesus' hand as we go through this difficult journey.”

“Love you always, brother! You inspire me every day, and now you can be with me every moment,” Jack wrote in a post on social media. “I've got this family T, don't worry. This is ours.”

Sheri continued to share the important Bible verse that connected her to Jesus throughout her family's difficult journey.

“This is the verse that keeps coming up, because like I said, God keeps showing up in these wonderful ways. And that is Isaiah 41:10. “Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be discouraged, for I am your God and I will strengthen you and help you, and I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.

She concluded by sharing a faith-filled message to Families of other victims From the attack.

I want everyone to know that the entire Beach family is praying for all the other victims' families. You know, it's a tough road, but together we can all get through it. We have a huge nuclear family.”
