the Demand for cruises continues To scale up, and Virgin Voyages has found a unique way to do just that Make travelers choose them.
In December, the adults-only cruise line launched an Unlimited Cruise Pass for 2025 sailings with a base fare of $120,000. With this card, passengers can hop on any ship, anytime, anywhere – for an entire calendar year.
“We offer unlimited opportunities for adventure in a way that has never been done on cruises before,” Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group, said in a press release shared with CNBC Make It.
The card can be purchased for a start date of January 1, February 1, March 1 or April 1 and is valid for a full year after that date. Ticket holders will still have to pay taxes and fees for the cruises they book.
Virgin Voyages also announced that the Annual Pass can be purchased using Bitcoin.
Passengers can board any of the three Virgin ships currently sailing and the fourth ship, Brilliant Lady, which will launch in September 2025.
The Annual Pass allows holders to reserve a Sea Terrace Cabin with a balcony and signature red hammock. Other perks include free laundry, a $100 credit per flight, unlimited premium Wi-Fi, priority boarding, and exclusive onboard events and experiences.
As a bonus, Annual Passholders are welcome to add a plus sign to their cabin and can redeem that person throughout the year.
The ticket will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Travelers must be 21 years of age and book the pass by inquiring through Virgin'sContact us“By March 31, 2025. Travel advisors who sell the Annual Pass will receive a $10,000 commission.
In addition to the annual pass, Virgin Voyages offers a pass Unlimited season pass. This card allows travelers to take 24- to 40-night cruises, starting at $14,999 for two passengers.
