“The United States will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will work with it as well,” Trump said during the joint press conference on Tuesday evening. “We will have it and be responsible for dismantling all the dangerous bombs and other weapons on the site.”
The President stressed the need to “do something different” in Gaza, where Hamas and Israel fought nearly 16 months ago.
Trump warned during the press conference: “If you go back, it will end in the same way that it was 100 years ago.”
Trump's plan to build an “economic development” in the War Gaza Strip was met with mixed reactions. The group now known as the Arab Americans for peace is far from rejecting the idea. Senator Rand Paul, RK, criticized Trump's proposal, saying he did not put “America first”.
