Osaka made this announcement less than a week before the start of the Australian Open.

“He has no bad blood at all, he is a great person and a wonderful father,” Osaka wrote. “Honestly, I'm really glad our paths crossed because my daughter is the biggest blessing to me and I've been able to grow so much through our experiences together.”
Corday did not comment on the split.
