“The 8th Precinct is currently working a mass casualty incident involving a vehicle that struck a large crowd at Canal and Bourbon Street,” city officials said.

The NOLA city website reported that 30 injured patients were transported by NOEMS to local hospitals and announced that there were at least 10 dead.
