Teddy Swims He's going to be a father!
The “Lose Control” singer and his partner are fellow performers Richie Wrightare expecting their first child together.
The couple shared the big news in an Instagram post on Wednesday, January 8.
Alongside photos of Swims (whose birth name is Gaten Colleen Dimmesdale) and Wright at the beach, Wright wrote: “We can't wait to meet you baby.”
Over the past year, after going public with their relationship, the singers have been seen on stage performing together quite often. Bulletin board Reports.
While talking about Wright in a July interview with kyle and jackie o show, Swims opened up about dating someone who is also in the music industry.
“She does what I do, which is great. Because maybe it's three in the morning, and I call her and she's like, 'Yes, yes, I'm in a session.' I'm recording vocals. And I'm like, 'Girl, yeah, manage your business, honey.'
On Wright's 29th birthday, Swims paid tribute to his partner, calling her “my beautiful girl.”
“My sweet girl. You are truly a divine female,” he wrote alongside a collage of photos of them together.
“You are the most perceptive and caring person I have ever met. You are so beautiful inside and out. So caring yet so tough. You spoil me and challenge me. I look forward to loving you forever and I am so grateful and lucky to call you mine.”
“I love you. Happy birthday, angel,” he continued, adding that her 29th year “will bring you everything you want, need, and so much more!” I am so happy to be by your side and support you through it all.
In May 2024, Wright shared a video of herself and Swims sharing the stage.
Fans gushed about how Swims looked up to Wright.
