Davis has hurt his career by fighting just once since his win over Garcia, selecting Frank Martin, and then making another mistake by choosing to fight Lamont Roach on March 1.
It's a combination of lack of ambition, fear and basic laziness on Tank Davis' part to not fight the right fights to increase his popularity rather than hurt it.
