Gervonta “Tank” Davis mocked Teofimo Lopez, in response to his skit on Friday. Teofimo played a street resident on the sidewalk, holding a begging cup and trying to get money from passersby. He wants to terminate his contract with Top Rank because he feels he is not making the big money he should be making.

Davis showed an old post from Lopez saying he would be the “highest paid” fighter at lightweight. This never happened. He came out of the weight class, and didn't make the big money at 140 that Tank and Ryan Garcia did.

Teofimo seems miserable because he wants to leave Top Rank because he thinks he can make more money by fighting with another promoter.

Teofimo was beaten by George Kambosos, who was involved in two controversial fights that many fans believe he should have lost, and looks poor. Lopez is now trying to terminate his contract with Top Rank to join the fighters who are making big money with other promoters, fighting on the Riyadh cards.

Changing promoters probably won't help Teofimo. His main problems are his lack of talent and mental toughness to beat the best. The loss to Kambosos proved that Lopez cannot handle things under pressure.

Lopez's fights with Jamin Ortiz, Sandor Martin and Steve Clagett reinforced the belief that he is not equipped to fight at a high level. In the eyes of the fans, he should have lost to Jamin and Sandor.

Ryan has a net worth 50 million dollarsand has never won a world title. Tank has made a lot of money too. It doesn't look like Teofimo will get the kind of dough that Davis and Garcia made. He hasn't been consistent enough with his career since 2021, and his performance is getting worse.

“I have a video on my phone of him saying he's going to be the highest paid 135 pounder. He's just talking about a**. He's just talking about a**,” Gervonta Davis said on social media, in response to a Teofimo Lopez skit that depicted him begging for money on the sidewalk with a sign and a mug. “The way things are going is crazy, and his a** is starting to look like a light-skinned Squidward.”
