former New York Giants Gambler Shawn Landetta wasn't too happy with one of his former teammates after he revealed what Landetta called a false and “awkward” locker room story of their playing time together.
During an interview with a Philadelphia radio station, Landetta was asked about the former Eagles wide receiver Freddie Mitchell He claims Landeta, who played for the Eagles from 1999 to 2002, would clean his “nether regions in a sauna” in front of other players.
The two-time Super Bowl champion remained calm but clearly upset by the question.

“Now, my first thing is – do you want to call me during primetime radio in Philly and talk to me about something like this? Are you kidding me,” he said in response to 94 WIP host Spike Eskin.
“I like Freddie. Good teammate and everything. But what he said was completely wrong. He completely denied that I was in the sauna with John Ritchie. That never happened.
“I'm disappointed in Mr. Mitchell. I'll talk to him about it.”
Jason Kelce is down for sitting Saquon Barkley in the Eagles' final game, missing the rushing record
But Landeta, who won two championships with the Giants, turned his attention back to the radio announcers.
“You call it fun, but it embarrasses someone else when they talk about things. Trust me, I understand how it works. I'm so disappointed that he would say that, especially when it's not true.”
Landeta went one step further to say that the question was an attempt to get ratings.
“I think with the Eagles getting close to a playoff game, they're not going to be talking about guys in saunas,” Landeta said.
