Investing.com – Saudi stocks fell after the close on Sunday, as losses in stocks and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the index decreased by 0.36%.
The best performing company in the session was the Saudi Glazed Pottery Pipes Company. (Trading:). Its value increased by 9.89%, or 3.50 points, and its price reached 38.90 at closing. On the other hand, SHL Financing Company (TADAWUL:) shares rose by 6.43%, or 1.10 points, and closed at 18.20, while Taiba Holding Company (TADAWUL:) shares rose 4.97%, or 1.85 points, to 39.05 at the end of the session.
As for the weakest performance at the end of today’s trading, the shares of Riyadh Cable Group Company (TADAWUL:) closed down by 6.30%, or 9.20 points, and traded at 136.80 levels at the close. Al-Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Thankful (Tadawul:) shares declined by 5.15%, or 1.45 points, to close at 26.70. Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Tadawul Group shares fell: 4.02%, or 12.00 points, to 286.60.
The number of falling stocks outnumbered the winning stocks on the Saudi Stock Exchange by 187 shares compared to 121 shares, and 29 shares closed without change.
Crude oil futures for February delivery rose 0.12%, or 0.08, to close at $69.46 per barrel. As for trading in other commodities, the price of Brent crude futures for March delivery rose 0.08%, or 0.06, and reached $72.56 per barrel, while gold futures contracts for February rose 1.42%, or 37.00, and closed at $2,645.10 per ounce.
EUR/SAR rose 0.51% to 3.91, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Futures Index fell 0.74% to 107.35.
