Investing.com – Saudi stocks fell after the close on Sunday, as losses in stocks and sectors led shares lower.

At the end of trading in Saudi Arabia, the index fell by 0.27%.

As for the weakest performance at the end of today’s trading, the shares of the National Medical Care Company (Tadawul:) closed down by 3.49%, or 5.80 points, and traded at 160.40 levels at the close. Emaar The Economic City (Tadawul) shares declined by 3.06%, or 0.58 points, and closed at 18.38. Energy and water facilities Jubail and Yanbu Company (Tadawul:) shares declined by 2.93%, or 1.60 points, at 53.00.

The number of advancing stocks outnumbered declining stocks on the Saudi Stock Exchange by 157 stocks compared to 147 stocks, and 32 stocks closed without change.

Crude oil futures for February delivery rose 1.13%, or 0.83, to close at $73.96 per barrel. As for trading in other commodities, the price of Brent crude contracts for March delivery rose 0.76%, or 0.58, and reached a price of $76.51 per barrel, while gold futures contracts for February fell by 0.54%, or 14.30, and closed at $2,654.70 per ounce.

EUR/SAR rose 0.52% to 3.87, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.75.

US Dollar Index futures fell 0.38% to 108.80.
