Investing.com – Israeli stocks rose after the close on Sunday, as losses in sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, it fell by 0.24%.

Among the leading stocks today was Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (TASE:), whose value rose 2.47%, or 203.00 points, to reach 8,425.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:) increased by 1.45% or 430.00 points and closed at 30,170.00. big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:) stock rose 1.10% or 590.00 points to 54,210.00 at the end of the session.

It was the worst performance of the session Kamtek Ltd (TASE:), which fell by 2.41% or 740.00 points and traded at 29,980.00 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:) fell by 1.91%, or 490.00 points, to close at 25,100.00. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE) shares fell 1.57%, or 28.00 points, to 1,752.00.

The number of falling stocks outnumbered the winning stocks on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 285 shares compared to 177 shares, and 75 shares closed without change.

Crude oil futures for February delivery rose 0.92%, or 0.64, to close at $70.26 per barrel. As for other commodity trading, Brent crude oil for March delivery fell by 0.00%, or 0.00, to reach a price of $73.79 per barrel, while gold futures contracts for February fell by 0.66%, or 17.40, and closed at $2,636.50 per ounce.

The US dollar/Israeli shekel rose 0.55% to 3.67, while the euro/Israeli shekel rose 0.52% to 3.83.

The US Dollar Futures Index fell 0.09% to 107.79.
