Investing.com – Shares in Indonesia rose after the close on Friday, as losses in sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the index lost 0.16%.
Among the best performers of the day were Maming Enam Sembilan Mineral Tbk PT (JK:), which rose 34.52%, or 58.00 points, to trade at 226.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Asia Sejahtera Mina Tbk (JK:) continued to rise by 34.05%, or 63.00 points, to close at 248.00. Golden Flower Tbk PT (JK:) rose 24.51% or 435.00 points to 2,210.00 at the end of the session.
As for the weakest performer at the end of today’s trading, Modern Internasional Tbk (JK:) shares closed down 14.29%, or 1.00 points, and traded at 6.00 levels at the close. Express Transindo Utama Tbk shares fell by 12.50% or 1.00 points and closed at 7.00. Metro Real Estate Tbk (JK:) stock fell 10.00% or 50.00 points to 450.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered declining stocks on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 323 shares to 283 shares, and 230 shares closed unchanged.
Crude oil futures for February delivery rose 0.29%, or 0.20, to close at $69.82 per barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for March delivery rose 0.19%, or 0.14, to $72.99 per barrel, while February gold futures fell 0.35%, or 9.29, to $2,644.61 per ounce.
The USD/INR rose 0.54% to 16,273.00, while the AUD/INR rose 0.59% to 10,121.85.
US Dollar Index futures rose 0.04% to 107.93.
