“I just saw the breaking news that former President Jimmy Carter died at the age of 100, which is surprising. I don't know if he's the first 100-year-old president ever. I think he might be, but I don't know.” “I don't know that,” he said. “Don't swear me on it because I don't know if it's true, but I think it is.

“History has not been great for Jimmy Carter He was not a great president. I'm not trying to belittle it in any way. Remember, you were coming from Watergate. United States, the country felt that Washington was dirty and corrupt. They were tired of professional politicians, and Richard Nixon was the best professional politician. I mean, he was a congressman, he was vice president twice, ran for president in '60, ran for governor in '62, lost in '60, lost in '62. He came back and won the presidency. He came back and won it again; Then came the Watergate scandal. He resigned and was pardoned by Gerald Ford. Ford finished.

“So, you had a man who was an outsider, a soft-spoken, intelligent man. A peanut farmer from Georgia who had no ties to Washington, and he was honest and pure as a whistle. He won the presidency. He came in, he was an honest man. He did a lot of good things in his life after “His political career was over, so there were a lot of nice things to say about this guy. A very smart guy, but he wasn't an effective leader and he wasn't as good a president as some of them are.”
