Southampton have announced the appointment of Ivan Juric as the club's new coach on an 18-month contract.
Saints are rooted to the bottom of the table after Russell Martin was sacked following the 5-0 home defeat to Tottenham last weekend.
They have won just one league match this season and have collected five points out of a possible 48.

Juric was available after being dismissed as Roma coach earlier this season. The Croatian had never coached outside of Italy before spending spells in Mantua, Crotone, Genoa, Verona and Turin.
He told Southampton's official website: “I'm very happy. I think it's a really big challenge but I'm very optimistic because I've seen a team that can do better.”
“It's important to have an immediate connection with the fans. I want a strong team and I think Southampton fans will like that.”
Juric is still awaiting final approval for his work permit, and the club has not said whether he will be in charge of tomorrow's match against Fulham.
