Harry Kane and Son Heung-min are the Premier League's most prolific duo, but it has been almost two years since they teamed up at Tottenham.
The England captain departed for Bayern Munich shortly after Ange Postecoglou's arrival in north London, leaving Son to take over the captaincy and his leadership role.
Their combined goal scoring exploits are simply legendary. In 2022, they surpassed Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba's record for the most combined goals with a brace in the competition.
Kane was constantly providing Son with perfect through balls, exploiting the South Korean's blistering speed, all while scoring goals himself.
Now the veteran South Korean player has revealed his relationship with the former number 10, putting him at the forefront when it comes to the players he has shared the pitch with.
In an interview with TNT Sports, Son said: “I think the Bundesliga is still one of the best leagues as well and when we talk about Harry (Kane), I don't have to give him any advice. For me, he is the best.
“For me, it's just… the best.”

“Because he's my friend, obviously you get some extra points. He'll always be (in) the top three for me, no matter what happens, he'll always be in the top three.”
“In particular, we had such amazing communication and playing together, we combined to score so many goals, and yes, to have this type of striker is always a dream.”
The love was definitely mutual. After Son reached 400 games for Tottenham, Kane sent a video message to Son, in which he said: “Obviously I was lucky enough to spend a lot of those games with you.”
While Son has undoubtedly felt the impact of Kane's departure to Bayern Munich, their mutual respect remains strong.
The partnership between Son and Kane will remain a strong memory for Tottenham fans for the next few decades, and there may come a time when Kane chooses to return for one last dance with his former team-mate.
