First Lady Jill Biden was attacked by children for wishing “Happy Holidays” instead of Christmas, sparking laughter and joy among online commenters.
On Friday, the First Lady hosted the Marine Corps Reserve's annual Children's Drive The white house. She greeted everyone with a “Happy Holidays” to which several children responded with an emphatic “Merry Christmas!”

“If you remember just one thing about the holidays, after you've cleaned out all the wrapping paper, let it be: You are loved,” she told military children during her speech. “There are so many people who care about you, from your family and friends, from your teachers and classmates, to the president and me.”

Commenters on X praised the children in attendance for correcting the First Lady at the start of the event.

Conservative spokesman Steve Guest said the incident was an “epic response” to Jill Biden's “war on Christmas.”
