Fans have probably already seen this Simone Biles The last dance.

Biles dominated 2024 Olympic Games in Paris Over the summer, he won three gold medals and one silver medal to become the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history.

But fans hoping to see her compete in what could be her last Olympics with the Games returning to America in 2028, may be disappointed to learn that Biles is not ready to show up.

talking to Sports Illustrated After being named 2024 Athlete of the Year, Biles said she believes returning to the Games after seeing so much success makes her “greedy”.

“If you come back, you will be greedy,” she said in the interview. “These are the consequences. But this is also your decision.” “What sacrifices would I make if I went back now? When I was younger, it was like prom or college. Now it's like starting a family, moving away from my husband. What's really worth it?”

Simone Biles Sports, Jonathan returns in uniform for Bears' final home game

Biles is married to Chicago Bears Safety Jonathan Owens. The couple married in April 2023, and have since been photographed supporting each other at their respective events.

Owens signed a two-year contract with the Bears in March 2024 after spending one season with the Green Bay Packers. He was excused from the start of training camp this summer to support his wife on her path to making history at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

As Biles moves into this next chapter of her life, she noted to Sports Illustrated that a return to the Olympic stage in 2028 will be a long shot.

“I've accomplished so much, and there's almost nothing left to do, rather than be arrogant and try again and why? I'm at a point in my career where I'm humble enough to know when to do it.”
