Ayman and how i met your mother They are two very different shows that have one unfortunate thing in common: They both have a series ending that is so bad that it retroactively destroys what came before, making it difficult for fans to revisit even the greatest episodes. AymanThe film's ending was so bad that I hesitated to watch the surprisingly decent follow-up series New blood. But once I did that then I scoped out Dexter: Original Sin (The prequel is making its way through the ratings), I decided that now was the perfect time to watch the original movie Ayman The work showed its bloody magic on Netflix.
What to know about Dexter
If you've never watched Ayman Before, you should know its wild premise (taken directly from Jeff Lindsay's Dexter novels) before adding it to Netflix a line. Our main character is a forensic specialist in the Miami Police Department with a startling secret: he is a serial killer driven by the violent desires of a “Dark Passenger” since seeing his mother brutally murdered. Raised by a cop who trained his adopted son to only kill bad guys, Dexter must now lead a double life as a bloodthirsty profiler and a ruthless killer.
Ayman (Unlike many shows on Netflix) it has a great cast, including Michael C. Hall (Otherwise known as Six feet under) who won a Golden Globe for his powerful performance. Other great cast members included Julie Benz (to Buffy and angel Fame) as Dexter and Jennifer Carpenter's love interest (horror fans will recognize her from her quarantine and The Exorcism of Emily RoseLike his sister, the potty mouth. Without going into detail, later seasons bring in great guest stars, including Jimmy Smits, Edward James OlmosJohn Lithgow, and many more.
If the cast Ayman Not to inspire you to check out your Netflix account, you might be interested in how many awards and nominations this show about a twisted killer has received. The show was nominated for an impressive 24 Primetime Emmys and took home two of them, just as it was nominated for 10 Golden Globe Awards and took home two statuettes. As for Hall, he personally took home a Golden Globes as well as Satellite, Saturn, and Screen Actor's Guild Awards for his outstanding performance as Dexter.
For the most part, Ayman It impressed critics and fans alike long before it arrived on Netflix. on Rotten tomatoesThe series received a critical rating of 71 percent, and audiences (via Popcornmeter) gave it 81 percent. This goes to show that even though the series had a legendarily terrible ending, most who watched it felt that it was more than the sum of its parts and that its creativity and intelligent execution for most of its eight seasons outweighed a show that had faltered so epically. The finish line is finally there.
Time to reconsider
plus, New blood It really did its best to recapture the weird ending of the original series, and original sin It proves to be a clever premise that adds some crunchy context to the titular killer's early adventures. Collectively, these next two shows did what I thought was impossible: kept me interested in the original show despite its deeply flawed ending. And now that Ayman On Netflix, I've been enjoying rewatching one of premium cable's most daring and bloody creations.
Will you find Ayman As a bonus when you watch (or re-watch) it. On NetflixOr is this the only chain you would rather throw out into the Gulf Stream? You won't know until you press play. And if you're like me, you can look forward to the opening title sequence (which won a Creative Arts Emmy, no less) which will never Makes you want to skip the intro.
