Awards season always starts with Golden Globe – And the year 2025 is no exception.
While the awards ceremony is still considered “Hollywood's party of the year,” things have changed quite a bit over the past 25 years. The Golden Globe Awards of the 2000s featured couples who have since broken up and dresses considered vintage.
While the Hollywood Foreign Press Association handed out awards at the 57th Golden Globe Awards on January 23, 2000, HBO celebrated the success of Sex and the City and The soprano, Denzel Washington and Hilary Swank It took home major honors, and the still-nascent Pixar company proved its mettle.
