Sandra Lee He is just one of the prominent names affected by the current wildfires in Los Angeles.
“My Malibu home has helped me get through some of the darkest moments in my life. “I loved creating it, decorating it, building it, caring for it, and protecting it,” Lee, 58, shared in an Instagram comment on Tuesday, January 7. “I cherished every moment I got to spend with her. As the fire approaches, I pray for it, I pray for everyone in Los Angeles right now. “What an incredibly terrifying moment for my community.”
The celebrity chef continued: “As fire arrives at our doorstep, please stay in touch with each other; In times like these, community is our lifeline. “We are all safe, but the fire is getting closer and closer to my paradise in Malibu.”
Lee told her followers about her long history in Malibu, starting as a waitress in 1989.

“I dreamed of a house like this (for me) and worked hard for it,” she wrote. “I'm sad but sending all my love to all the first responders and firefighters who are doing everything they can to keep us safe!!! Love and prayers always.”
Along with her hopeful comment, Lee shared three videos as the fires broke out. The first photo was taken when she started evacuating her house, which was meters away.
“Sandra, she's here,” a voice is heard saying in the background of the clip as Lee zooms in on the fire in her area. “I got everything I could.”
Another video clip showed her recording some of the fire damage while she was driving the car. Black smoke was seen covering the road as she passed a fire truck heading in the other direction. In a third clip, Lee recorded gray smoke rising into the air over a body of water as ash fell from the sky.
