Indian actress and host of “Date With a Superstar” Sahiba Balimade headlines during the opening episode of her show when she interviewed the Australian cricket captain Pat cumin.

Sahiba Bali's frank confession

During the episode, Sahiba candidly acknowledged the huge fan following of Cummins in India, especially among women. She also revealed her crush on the cricketer, adding a fun touch to the professional interview.

“You have huge fans in India, especially among women.” said Sahiba. “There's a huge, huge spectrum of women who absolutely adore you; myself included, and my best friend included. She texted me and said, 'Oh, you're going to meet Pat Cummins.' I'm so jealous of you. Obviously everyone knows you're married, but how could you Meet the attention of women?

The Australian commander, who was surprised but maintained his composure, responded with a laugh: “I don't even know where to start with this. I don't know, just do what I can.”

Pat Cummins' reaction to female attention

As the conversation progressed, popular actress Leila Majnoon came forward, asking whether Cummins acknowledges or chooses to ignore the love and admiration he receives from fans, especially women.

“Not real,” Cummins replied thoughtfully. “I mean it's funny. In India, obviously, you see fans and crowds and so on…”

Sahiba interrupted him and said: “And they are crazy.”

“And they are crazy” Cummins agreed, adding, “But, I mean, we spend most of the time as a team, at the hotel, or with family. So, sometimes you don't get a lot of one-on-one interaction.

Latency married life and cricket commitments

Cummins tied the knot with his old partner Becky Boston On August 1, 2022. The couple welcomed a son, adding family balance to the fast-paced life of the international cricketer. Despite his global stardom and the attention he received, Cummins' response reflected his grounded personality and focus on family and cricket.

The right-arm pacer is set to return to India for the 2025 IPL season, where he will captain Sunrise, Hyderabad (SRH). His leadership in the league will be closely watched, especially as he continues to balance his role as Australia's Test and ODI captain with franchise cricket commitments.
