Roy Keane brutally criticized United ahead of the Liverpool match

The Irishman expressed his deep frustration with United's alarming form, which has seen them lose four games in a row to Tottenham, Bournemouth, Wolverhampton and Newcastle, leaving them languishing in 14th place.

Speaking on Sky Sports (as quoted The sun), He said:

“If you look at the statistics, oh my God, they are very bad. Obviously the new coach has come in and there has been no response from the players which is very worrying.”

“They don't look like a great group. They don't have world-class players. They don't have a striker who can get them out of jail. The goalkeeper isn't great. The players have to be held accountable.”

“I just want a little bit of passion in their performance. It's disgraceful what they do week in, week out. You look at the evidence over the last month or two and even before that, and ask yourself: How can Manchester United come here to Anfield and get a result?

“Manchester United showed up. They showed a bit of passion, a lot of quality and some fight. They did that at Manchester City recently as well.

“The argument in all this is that you can't just pick and choose when you want to come to a Manchester United match.”

“I don't think anyone was expecting them to score two goals today or come close to scoring at the end. But the key is that they have to back it up.”
