Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur has revealed he is “fine” after requiring extensive treatment during the first half of Wednesday's Carabao Cup semi-final win over Liverpool.

“Unless I get a doctor here, I'm not going to speculate because it's not fair to the people around him. There was concern from the players there, so there's clearly something going on.”

Tottenham travel to the home of fifth-tier club Tamworth Third round of the FA Cup On Sunday lunchtime before the north London derby at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium next Wednesday. While Bentancur is unlikely to feature in any of those matches, it remains to be seen whether he will be available for the semi-final second leg against Liverpool at Anfield in the first week of February.
