Ricky Lake She shared a heartwarming update after her home and many irreplaceable memorabilia were destroyed in the devastating Los Angeles fires.
“One of the things I lost, out of everything I lost, but one of the things that was really painful for me (was) I lost my videos, my photos, my album from giving birth to my son,” Lake, 56, said in a video shared via Instagram On Sunday, January 26th.
Lake shares sons Milo, 27, and Owen, 23, with the ex-husband Rob Sussman. The 2001 water birth was the subject of the 2008 documentary Lake 2008 Born works.
“I consider it the most meaningful I've done in my 37-year career, but it's very personal,” she explained. “It was my own money, it was my own experience, and when I had my son, I had pictures during that birth. It was a beautiful album. It was really important to me.”
Al-Buhaira continued that one of the doulas was present at the birth, Jennifer LexonI reached out to her on Facebook saying she had copies of the photos from 2001.
“She reached out and showed me copies of my birth photos,” Lake wrote in the caption of the video. “One of the many priceless things I lost in the fire. I am deeply touched by this kind gesture. ❤.”
In the video, Lake noted, “I haven't talked to (Lickson) in years, but she reached out and texted me seeing that I lost my house.” She added: “It's like the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. I can't believe I'll be able to get these back.”
Lake Malibu The house was destroyed By Pacific Palisades Hilfire on January 7. She and her husband Ross Burnham They evacuated their home after exhausting all efforts to save it. She is one of many celebrities – including Paris Hilton, Heidi Montag and Spencer PrattAmong others – those who lost their homes as a result of ongoing fires.
“Grateful to make it out alive and uninjured. Forever grateful to KirbyKotler_ our absolute angel. He did everything to try and save our precious possessions. No doubt we survived, we didn't survive,” Lake wrote via Instagram at the time. Thank you for the love and wishes.”
“Again, please pray for those affected by this catastrophic event and help if you are able,” she added.
