My friend John Gordon, best-selling author and speaker, is known for his “One Word Challenge.” I chose one word for the new year. There are no decisions just one word given to you Mission, passion and purpose For the year. One word that will focus you on being the best in 2025.

My word for 2025 is: GREATEST.

Greater is the degree of comparison. In other words, what is beyond mere greatness is greater. What is the goal you aspire to?

I hope you make GREATER your one word for the New Year too. You can have a greater year than you've ever had before. And a life greater than the one you live now.

Overcome the barriers that prevent you from living a beautiful life

I want to inspire you to believe in a greater future. Greater joy in life, greater purpose in life, and greater faith in God. There is greater personal growth, greater spiritual maturity, greater financial freedom, greater health, and greater relationships for you this year.

We can hope and pray for a greater outcome. God has placed within us the desire for greater fulfillment—a greater reality than what we experience, a greater future for ourselves and our loved ones, and greater freedom to do what God has for us.

Give yourself permission to live a greater life. Step into who you are meant to be. Stop playing small. You are destined for greater things. God wants to develop your capacity for greater responsibility, greater influence, and greater impact. God is preparing you for a greater life.

3 Profound New Year's Resolutions You Can Make When You're Feeling Helpless in Our Chaotic Times

God has made you do great things, far greater than you can ever imagine. Jesus said: “I tell you with certainty: If you believe in me, you will do the same things I do. You will do even greater things, because now I will return to the Father.” (John 14:12)

How can we do greater things than Jesus did? He raised people from the dead, told people about the future, and changed the world forever. We cannot do greater things than Jesus in quality, but we can collectively do greater things in quantity.

The key is faith, belief that it is possible to do greater, to have greater and to be greater. This is an opportunity to have a greater year.

Do we need more? I think we do. We need greater wisdom, we need greater opportunity, we need greater fulfillment. We need more in our lives, in our families, and in our communities.

Akbar means a year we have never seen before. It will be a year that beats any previous year.

Can you imagine a year with more resources? Replacing scarcity with abundance is a game changer. Can you imagine a year with more loneliness? Moving from division to understanding would positively change our culture.

Can you imagine a year with more love? Relationships will be healed and restored. Can you imagine a year with more commitment? Much will eventually be accomplished that has not been accomplished.

You can believe that God will bring greater things to life than you can imagine this year. You can believe in greater things despite impossible circumstances. You can persevere for greater things even in the face of frustration. You can choose greater things by committing more than ever before.

You choose every day when you are supposed to achieve more and you will not settle for less. (Kristingassner)

The path to a greater life will not be one of continuous momentum and never-ending victories. There will be challenges and setbacks this year. Bigger is not an automatic position, it is a daily decision. You choose every day when you are supposed to achieve more and you will not settle for less.

When you keep doing the right things every day, it adds up and the result is something greater. One positive practice is to set aside time each day to increase your faith by reading a devotional from my new book “greater.” This will inspire you to continue believing in what is greater in your life.
