According to a new report, Marcus Rashford's potential exit from Manchester United could open the door for Victor Osimhen to move to Old Trafford.
The 27-year-old has been dropped from the squad in recent weeks by coach Ruben Amorim. In fact, he has not played a single minute of football since his side's 3-2 loss to Nottingham Forest on 7 December.
Reports yesterday indicated that Rashford is keen to continue his career in EuropeAfter he rejected three offers from Saudi clubs. He has reportedly turned down the chance of a £675,000-a-week contract in a bid to regain his place in the England national team.

As such, a move to Naples has now been discussed. Antonio Conte's men currently sit second in Serie A and are looking to bring in another striker to secure the league title, The Sun reports.
They are keen to land Rashford and it is believed this could open the door for the Red Devils to sign Victor Osimhen, as part of an exciting swap deal.
How much is Victor Osimhen's release clause?
Osimhen was on the verge of moving to Chelsea during the summer transfer window, but the proposed move collapsed as they were unable to agree personal terms. During the transfer window, the striker instead moved on loan to Galatasaray for the 2024/25 season. So far in Türkiye, he has scored 12 goals and provided five assists in 15 matches.
Osimhen scored 76 goals for Napoli in 133 matches, helping them win the Serie A title during the 2022/23 season.
United have scored just 21 league goals this season, with Rasmus Hoglund, and especially Joshua Zirkzee, particularly vulnerable. It could be that Old Trafford are looking to sign another striker in the winter window Before the second half of the season.
Osimhen reportedly has a £62m release clause in his contract and any move involving Rashford would see the Winthenshawe-born striker reunited with former United man Scott McTominay.
