Two men disguised as Amazon delivery staff reportedly beat up a 66-year-old man Savannah, Georgia, bar owner He was nearly killed by a hammer-like weapon on the morning of Jan. 11, according to police and local reports.
The two suspects, wearing the company's signature blue jackets bearing the Amazon logo and carrying a cardboard box, knocked on the man's front door at about 8 a.m.
They allegedly proceeded to attack him with weapons for approximately eight minutes, As reported by the World Trade Organization for the first time.
In security camera footage shared by the Savannah Police Department on its website, the perpetrators can be seen slowly approaching the man's door in the 500 block of Price Street, wearing ski masks covering their faces. The victim can then be heard screaming for help.
His neighbors arrived shortly after and found the 66-year-old with multiple head injuries. The victim received 14 stitches and is still recovering from the sudden attack, according to the World Trade Organization.

The outlet reported that the perpetrators fled the scene after the attack and stole $80 from the victim.
An Amazon spokesperson told Fox News Digital that based on the company's internal investigation, it can confirm that the individuals seen in the video did not make scheduled deliveries for Amazon.
The spokesperson added that Amazon regularly monitors the internet for unauthorized Amazon apparel and requests that such items be removed whenever and wherever possible. The spokesperson noted that people making deliveries on Amazon's behalf do not routinely knock on doors or ask customers to sign for packages unless arranged in advance.

Savannah Police are actively investigating The attack is still being sought for the two suspects.
