Barnes, 21, is currently a student at the University of Oklahoma while her boyfriend Ewers, 21, is one of the most recognizable faces in college football at Texas.
Despite the distance and deep rivalry between their schools, Barnes and Ewers have managed to make it work since announcing their relationship in February 2023.

Barnes posted the first photo of the couple on Instagram during a trip to see Ewers in Austin, Texas.

The photos were posted on October 13, the day after the Ewers and Longhorns defeated the Oklahoma Sooners 34-3 in the game known as the Red River Rivalry.
