It has been a busy start to the new year for the La Liga champions, but Ancelotti managed to turn his side around to win the Copa del Rey on Monday night.

The heavy hitters will return to the fold in Saudi Arabia as Real Madrid hunt for another piece of silverware. Kylian Mbappé, Antonio Rudiger, Aurelien Chouamini and Thibaut Courtois are among the players up for call-up.

Ancelotti will also be available for Vinicius Junior on Thursday despite being sent off against Valencia. The Brazilian will serve his suspension in the Spanish League.

Los Blancos will miss the long-term absence of Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao, but they will soon benefit from the return of David Alaba from a torn anterior cruciate ligament. The Austrian has been out of action for more than a year.

Real Madrid's expected lineup against Mallorca (4-2-3-1): polite; Vazquez, Chouamini, Rudiger, Mendy; Valverde, Camavinga; Rodrygo, Bellingham, Vinicius; Mbappe.

Both Antonio Railo and Antonio Sanchez will undergo late fitness tests, but neither player is expected to be included in the starting lineup.

Jagoba Arrasate made big changes during their Copa del Rey defeat on Friday and will return to a more popular line-up in Jeddah.

Mallorca's expected lineup against Real Madrid (4-4-2): Grif. Maffeo, Valgent, Copete, Mujica; Asano, Morlanes, Mascarell, Darder; Larin, Muriqui.

However, Real Madrid enter the match in good form and are unlikely to fail – as was the case on the opening weekend. Unlike their opponents, they are accustomed to long adventures in the Middle East, but they may have to be patient before finally enjoying success.

Prediction: Real Madrid 2-0 Mallorca
