President Donald Trump He said that building a shield that resembles the Iron Dome of the United States is a top priority for him on Monday, calling for “immediate” work in the project before signing an executive order.
Trump made statements at a Republican dinner in Florida on Monday, while he referred to the recently confirmed defense minister Higseth House. After landing at the Andrews joint base that night, he confirmed that he had signed an executive about the Iron Dome on the plane.
“The Higseth House, which will be great, by the way … I think it will be great,” Trump said at this event. “I know him well. I think it will be great.”
“It is what we need, to start building a railway defense shield immediately, which will be able to protect Americans.”

The president added that the Americans “protect other countries, but we do not protect ourselves.” Trump also pointed out that President Ronald Reagan was interested in the regime during the Cold War, but the Americans “did not have technology.”
“Now we have an enormous technique. You see it with Israel,” Trump continued. “So I think the United States is entitled to obtain it. Everything will take place here in the United States of America 100 %.”
“We are going besides ensuring that we have the most deadly combat power in the world.”
On Monday, the Foreign Ministry said a future iron dome is one of Higseth's many priorities.

“The other regions that the Secretary will study will study the forces that have been paid due to the COVID-19 vaccination mandates and the development of the Iron Dome control system for the United States,” the statement said.
This was not Trump's first mention of an iron dome of the United States in the opening ball of the leader on January 20. Trump said the project was on his radar.
“We are also the iron dome made in America,” Trump said. “We will get a nice iron dome.”
The Republican leader also referred to the plan on the campaign's path in 2024.
