Sarah Michelle Gellar reprimanded Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass on Tuesday as the Palisades fire raged Los Angeles.
“City of Los Angeles, you want to evacuate everyone but you have a complete gridlock and not a single traffic cop on the roads helping,” Gellar wrote on Instagram Stories with tags on the official social media accounts of the City of Los Angeles and Bass.
The Palisades Fire, caused by strong Santa Ana winds, started in the Santa Monica Mountains late Tuesday morning and quickly engulfed 200 acres within an hour, rising to nearly 3,000 acres by sunset. Fox Weather reported.

“Looks like the mayor is in Ghana,” she wrote. “Apparently the fire department's budget was cut by 17 million. Someone made the decision not to refill some tanks – and now some fire hydrants have run dry. Driving in California is beyond negligent. This is completely unacceptable.”
Michaels continued in another post: “California Governor @GavinNewsom issued a press release admitting they knew about the crazy fire danger last Sunday because he was proposing fire trucks. However, he called in the National Guard a few hours ago. Pacific Ocean ran out of water from the barriers in “It's three in the morning, and I'm very upset for my family who stayed there. It's pure incompetence and poor prioritization.”
James Woods, who lost his home Tuesday in the Palisades fire, wrote on X that the fire was not caused by “climate change” but by “liberal idiots like Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass.”

He added: “One of them does not understand the first thing about fire management and the other cannot fill water tanks.” Woods posted throughout the day as he prepared to evacuate his home, then later gave fans a sad update that he had lost his home in Pacific Palisades.
Steve Guttenberg set out to help firefighters and move cars stranded on Sunset Boulevard by residents fleeing the fire, he exclusively told Fox News Digital. “It's like Zombieland, you know, there are all these abandoned cars all over the street.”
Los Angeles Fire Department Officials confirmed that the Palisades Fire broke out just after 11 a.m. near the southeast side of Palisades Drive. Evacuation orders were issued as the fire expanded to about 200 acres.
Guttenberg – known for his roles in “Police Academy” and “Three Men and a Baby” – urged people who were leaving their cars behind during the evacuation to also leave their keys so crews could access the fire.

“What people are doing is they're abandoning their cars, and this is a crisis, and they're not leaving their keys in their cars,” Guttenberg told Fox News Digital. “What happens is the fire trucks can't get down the street because they have all these abandoned cars without the ability to move them. So what I've been doing is helping move the cars and putting them on the hill and making way for the fire department.”
“I just wanted to see what I could do to help some of my neighbors, but it's a ghost town.”
Guttenberg noted that the fire was “the largest fire we've ever seen in the Palisades area. It's massive.”
“We've had small fires, but this is definitely the largest, and it's gotten out of control in certain areas,” he said. “I've been able to survive here, like a pocket where there's no fire. So everyone's safe, and I just wanted to see what I could do to help some of my neighbors, but it's a ghost town. Everyone's gone and I think that's what's important, that's how it should be in A big fire like that.”

Reality TV star Spencer Pratt and his wife Heidi Montag have lost their home Palisades fireThey confirmed this on their Snapchat accounts on Tuesday. In a series of videos, “The Hills” star. It showed how quickly the fire moved up the hill toward their property.

“Jesus protects the lives of those fighting the fire and the lives of those who were unable to evacuate,” he wrote.
