WWE SPERSTAR Nia Jax Granted, things aren't always leagues that are unfamiliar with every member of the women's locker room.
In an exclusive interview with US WeeklyThe reigning Queen of WWE, 40, hesitated when asked if all the wrestlers on the roster had gotten to make it backstage.
“Is this the politically correct answer?” Jax asked us with a smile. “Should I tell you the real tea?”
After a moment of hesitation, Jax hinted at some strained relationships with a handful of other wrestlers on the roster.
“There might be a couple that we're like, 'Yo, sit outside.' “We don't really want you here,” Jax revealed. “I won't say any names. We'll keep it quiet.”
Despite a bad egg or two, Jax said things are usually fun between herself and her co-stars.
“For the most part in our women's locker room, we deal with all of us,” she explained. “We're willing to help each other out… If one of us is like, 'Hey, I'm about to do a promo and a match and a scrimmage, I need food,' the girls are like, 'Hey, whatever you need.' We really support each other. “
Given the hectic schedule of life in WWE — where wrestlers are sometimes on the road 300 days out of the year — Jax said the members of the locker room become more than friends.
“There are times when we are each other's family,” she explained. “At the end of time, I'm with them 90 percent of the time. We have to turn to each other and have a bond.”
She added, “If I could expose some behind-the-scenes stuff, it would be the best reality show ever.”
Jax will go one-on-one with the WWE Women's Champion Rhea Ripley in Main event on Saturday night on Saturday, January 25, a match promoted by Jax as a feast for all the senses.
“I'm not going to be ashamed,” Jax said of Ripley, 28. “We're beautiful women. We're beautiful women, and we're also athletes. So, going out there and showing, ‘Yes, the guys do a great job, but we do a good job.’ We bring a whole different type.” From the audience.”
She added, “Young women see us out there and they're like, 'Holy crap, I could do something like that.' Every time we had that opportunity, we killed it.”
