Five new fires erupted in southern California before US President Donald Trump's visit to the state.
The fire was caught – called Laguna, Sepulveda, Gibbe, Gilman and Border 2 – Thursday in Los Angeles, San Diego, Fintora and Riverside.
Meanwhile, firefighters have made progress in the Hughes fire, which has an area of 10,000 acres in Los Angeles under control, and has 36 % since its outbreak on Wednesday.
The fires have destroyed the American state over the past few weeks, as the fires of Palisades and Eaton recorded a total of more than 37,000 acres and killed at least 28 people.
Here are some details about the latest fires, based on updates from the Ministry of Forests and Fire Protection in California (Cal Fire):
- The 2 border extends in San Diego 800 acres. The evacuation orders are currently present
- Laguna Fire in Ventura, which covers 94 acres and 70 % of it has been controlled
- Sepulveeda fire in Los Angeles extends 45 acres and contains 60 %. In an update posted on X, the Los Angeles Fire Department said that they prevented the fire from spreading and the evacuation orders were raised
- The Gibbel fire broke out in Riferside County, covering 15 acres. Firefighting crews managed to prevent fire from applying
- The Bush fire is called “Gilman Fire” in San Diego Fedanin, but the progress of the fire was stopped
Trump Los Angeles is scheduled to visit on Friday to examine the damage of the wilderness.
The newly opened president criticized the response to fire and threatened to block federal assistance if California fails to change the way it runs water supply.
California Governor Gavin New Roosom has repeatedly criticized that the state suffers from water problems because it has turned supplies to save a small fish called the smell.
When the American media was asked if it would cut the funding to the FBA, Trump said: “I may have to do this. Sometimes this is the only thing that you can do. California is a great example of it.
“If you are actually exploring people, they do not want the cities of the haven, but Gavin New Roosom does it. These radical left -wing politicians do it.”
BBC has told BBC that he hoped that Trump would not reject federal aid to the state.
“Our most important axis is to obtain federal assistance in California, in these societies where people have lost their lives, their homes,” he said.
“In the history of this country, federal aid has not been linked to disasters if you do this, you are getting it. This is the discussion that occurs, this has never happened.”
Hughes – the third largest fire in the state was forced after the fires of Palisades and Eaton – tens of thousands of people to evacuate after its outbreak on Wednesday.
According to Cal Fire, Crew managed to make progress in the fast fire containing Thursday.
In an update published on Friday, the US National Weather Service said that the dry weather will continue in “high wildfire conditions” in southern California, before expecting the rain during the weekend of fire -affected areas.
