While the broadcast quality does not seem to falter before kick-off and at least during the first half of the match between Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers, there were some minor hiccups during pregame coverage.

Pregame coverage began two hours before the Chiefs and Steelers kickoff at 1 p.m. ET.

“Last year, we decided to make a big bet on streaming — by tapping into a huge fan base through comedy,” Bela Bajaria, Netflix's chief content officer, said in a May press release shortly after the Christmas Day game pack launched. Reality TV, sports and more. It has been announced.

Netflix paid an estimated $150 million for the rights to the games, according to Bloomberg. There has been an ongoing relationship between the broadcaster and the NFL over the past two years.
